Hello Anna,
Java Dance Theatre with support from Creative NZ is happy to offer your students a performance.
Please confirm the performance space and the type of floor it has (wooden floor preferred)
Java will arrive 75-90 minutes before the performance to set up in the space. We require access to power for the keyboards.
Little River School will be invoiced and payment to be made on the day of the performance.
Java requires a teacher per class to be present during the performance (an opportunity for professional development)
Supporting the Curriculum
Java performances supports the Arts & PE curriculum through dance. It promotes the curriculum values and key competencies – thinking, confidence and wellbeing, motivation, teamwork, negotiation, self management, respect and creative exploration of topics.
Java Dance Theatre is a Wellington based company telling stories through extraordinary physicality.
(Dancers are graduates of The New Zealand School of Dance and the New Zealand School of Music)
