Banks Penninsula Writer's workshop

We are pleased to share a save-the-date for an exciting Banks Peninsula Writers’ Workshop opportunity in partnership with RAWA (Raising Achievement in Writing Aotearoa). 6th March 2026 - probably 10 am - 12 pm, but this is TBC.
In 2026, Akaroa Area School will be hosting a series of writing workshops led by Gavin Bishop and Ross Calman, aimed at strengthening student voice, craft, and confidence in writing across our cluster.
Workshop Overview
1 x workshops with Gavin Bishop - Yr 1-3 - 35/45 min
1 x workshops with Gavin Bishop - Yr 4-6 - 35/45 min
1 x workshops with Ross Calman - Exclusively Passionate writers in yr 7-10 - max 20 students - (BP schools 4 each)
For now, we would appreciate principals saving the date and expressing provisional interest in participation.
