At Little River School, we report to parents and whānau twice a year through the HERO app. This aligns with the New Zealand Ministry of Education’s expectations for clear, consistent, and accessible reporting on student progress and achievement. HERO allows parents to see real-time updates, learning posts, and curriculum progress across key learning areas. By reporting twice a year, we ensure families are well-informed about their child’s learning journey, next steps, and how they can support learning at home. It also gives teachers a chance to celebrate growth and share learning in an engaging, digital format.

HERO allows schools (teachers, students, and families) to view and share content anytime, anywhere on any device. The software is secure, easy to use and brings together all school information in one place.

With Hero, you have the ability to:

View information on your child’s progress and goals.
Customise your account by adding a profile image.
Select how you wish to receive notification.
